In-depth Study of the Russian Economy
Where does the enemy get resources to wage war against Ukraine?
Comparison of key economic indicators of the two countries.
On the third anniversary of the full-scale invasion, the International Liberty Institute (ILI) presents an in-depth and comprehensive study of the aggressor country's economy.
We have analyzed:
The effectiveness of Western sanctions. How does Russia circumvent sanctions? Real results of sanctions in figures and facts.
Preparation strategy, available and potential resources for war. Key economic indicators of Ukraine and Russia in comparison.
The ownership structure, economic management system, main sectors, distribution mechanisms, and capital by the ruling criminal syndicate "Kremlin".
What fills the Russian federal budget? To what extent is Russia dependent on the price of oil and gas? The current state of the Russian economy, trends and sources of capital, and major foreign trading partners.
Average annual growth rates of the Russian economy, forecasts of ILI, IMF, and Russian analytical sources.
Indices and international rankings of economic and personal freedoms in Russia.
The study shows whether the expectations of many analysts that the decline in oil prices will affect the financing of the costs of waging war against Ukraine are justified. The Institute provides a general and understandable assessment of the safety margin of the Russian economy to determine the real number of resources that Russia, led by a typical far-left dictator Vladimir Putin, is spending on the war against Ukraine and the West. Identifying the weakest, most vulnerable points of the totalitarian empire is a key task for Ukraine's victory.
The Institute's research can be freely used by the media, bloggers, and other media with a relevant link to the source.
